ZL1 Speaker rings June 12, 2012

I just received and installed my speaker rings this afternoon.  The installation is a breeze.  Just peel off the backing on the double stick tape align and press on contact - it's done.  However the fit leaves a bit to be desired.  A taper for a perfect fit is advertised.  My rings were flat!  When installed there is a bit of a gap (approx. 1/16") around the outer edge of the trim ring.  From several feet away it is not too noticeable but close as in the drivers seat when the light is right it is very noticeable. I may use some black caulk to hide the gap.  Not sure yet.  For the price of these they should fit better!
