The Three-Bolt Cam Lock Plate for GM Gen III/IV LS Engines uses an innovative and easy-to-install design to prevent cam bolts from backing out at any RPM level or load. The durable steel material and design stands up to increased stress from racing applications, and the included heavy-duty bolts will not strip or break.

When you are upgrading your Camshaft in your 2010-2015 Camaro SS or ZL1, You will find that you will be upgrading to a 3 Bolt Camshaft and running a 3 Bolt Timing Gear. Comp Cams has developed this Plate and Bolt kit to reassure that you that your Cam Bolts will not back out and destroy your engine.This is a cheap insurance that gives you confidence that the bolts will not back out when installing a 3 bolt timing gear on your Aftermarket Camshaft. Note: Factory Camshafts on 2010-2015 Camaro SS and ZL1 are a Single Bolt Cams

Part Number: 5461Place the Comp Cams 5461 Plate up to timing gear. Install bolts through the Plate and tighten Cam bolts to manufacture torque spec. Once the bolts are torqued fold the tabs on the flat sides of the Camshaft Bolts.
