Vehicle designs over the past few years have been as lack lustered in curb appeal as new car sales have been. Fortunately, there are a few bright stars that have found there way through the clouds of monotonous, cookie cutter car designs. The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro is one of these bright spots in the current day automotive slump.
One of the most anticipated cars in decades, the 2010 Camaro delivers an awesome looking, extremely muscular body style that complements the muscular 6.2L V8 neatly tucked under the hood. Hedman Hedders now manufacturers a set of 304 stainless steel hedders for the new 2010 Camaro SS 6.2L. They easily bolt up to the factory exhaust, and since the catalytic converters are retained, these hedders meet, then exceed the high expectations of even the most hardened muscle car enthusiast. "I immediately noticed an increase andbroadening of the engine's torque curve after the hedders were instaled," comments, Mike Spagnola, owner of the WD-40 2010 camaro SS used to prototype the hedders. He added, "The new pipes gave the Camaro's exhaust an awesome rumble sound. Nothing overpowering though. I can't wait for the next dyno day to see how much power was picked up."
Most stainless exhaust products are manufacturered using less durable 409 stainless because it is cheaper. Although more expensive, Hedman has chosen to use 304 Stainless Steel for all of it's stainless hedders because of the material's superior durability, heat and corrosion resistance. And, as icing on the cake, hedman offers all of it's stainless steel hedders with or without Hedman's HTC Ceramic-Metallic Coating.
Hedman's 2010 Camaro hedders weren't designed with performance improvement as the only goal. These hedders were also thoughtfully designed for an easy install.
