The FTI Performance Street Racer Lock-Up Series Torque Converter is engineered for GM 6L80E/6L90E 6-speed automatic transmissions in vehicles like the Chevrolet Camaro SS and GM trucks. Featuring a 3000 RPM stall speed, it is designed for daily-driven vehicles with mild upgrades, such as mild camshafts, headers, intake improvements, ECU tuning, and forced induction systems like superchargers or turbochargers.. Built with race-proven components and a durable lock-up design, it delivers smoother launches, improved throttle response, and reliable torque transfer while maintaining excellent street drivability.

Available in triple clutch, FTI has designed a forged billet lock-up cover to offer the very best in performance and reliability for all of their billet lock-up torque converters. Furnace brazed internal components for maximum internal performance and reliability. All internal fins are hand TIG welded to ensure structural integrity. To increase converter reliability and longevity, each FTI torque converter is assembled using new premium name brand Torrington bearings.
