This Cam Motion hydraulic roller cam delivers smooth idle, excellent low end torque, and extended RPM capabilities over the stock camshaft. This cam will work well as a performance replacement for Camaro, needing more power without poor gas mileage associated with the larger cams. Cam Motion designed this as a "drop in" type cam with minimal vehicle modifications. These cams are designed to be compatible with the performance aftermarket .600" lift dual valve springs. This camshaft can be used with stock, existing lifters, but used lifters should be inspected for wear, damage or irregularities that could damage your new camshaft.
This cam will deliver a mildly smooth idle, excellent low end torque, and extended RPM capabilities over the stock camshaft. Cam Motion designed this cam as a "drop in" camshaft with minimal modifications required. However, the full potential of the camshaft would benefit from additional bolt-on's. These camshafts are designed to be used with the dual valve springs in either Steel or Titanium. They can also be used with the factory lifters and lifter buckets on the LS3 but lifters should be inspected for damage prior to cam installation.

Cam Core Alloys Explained:
5150 Alloy - Similar to a factory constructed cam, the 5150 Alloy is perfect for the mild to aggressive street and mild camshafts. This cam will be perfect for the daily/street driven Camaros.
8620 Alloy - The 8620 Alloy goes through a hardening process called carburizing that creates an exemplary combination of strength and wear characteristics. This cam will be perfect for the hardcore racer that participates in weekly weekend races and high endurance races with their Camaro.
