The FTI Performance Street Racer Lock-Up Series Torque Converter is a premium performance torque converter engineered specifically for GM 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmissions used in the Chevrolet Corvette C6. Featuring a 3200 RPM stall speed, it is designed for performance enthusiasts seeking stronger launches, improved acceleration, and enhanced throttle response while maintaining street-friendly drivability.

As an upgrade over the factory converter, it allows the engine to reach a more effective power range before engagement, helping maximize power delivery during hard acceleration. Built with race-proven components and a durable lock-up design, it provides reliable torque transfer and pairs well with common performance upgrades such as mild to moderate camshafts, headers, intake improvements, ECU tuning, and forced induction systems like superchargers or turbochargers.

Available in triple clutch, FTI has designed a forged billet lock-up cover to offer the very best in performance and reliability for all of their billet lock-up torque converters. Furnace brazed internal components for maximum internal performance and reliability. All internal fins are hand TIG welded to ensure structural integrity. To increase converter reliability and longevity, each FTI torque converter is assembled using new premium name brand Torrington bearings.
